Often I am motivated by experiencing actual places. I like to use acrylics or watercolor to facilitate my senses --of quietude of the woods, of light captured on branches, of cast shadows onto open space, of a thunderous rainstorm, of a glistening pond, of the wind through trees, of the embodiment of bird calls or of a field of flowers.
