It Sang to Me. Acrylic on canvas, 11" x 14." Searching for a view while plein air painting at the Plainsboro Preserve where New Jersey Audubon Society is located--a beautiful Baltimore Oriole was perched in one of the tree's branches. This beautiful bird not only surprised me with the honor of its presence, it also SANG its melodious tune to me. I was hooked upon painting this spot. However, since the oriole flew away within seconds, I was left to paint with only the magic of its presence there.
