Alive!! Mixed media & acrylic on canvas, 24" x 36." Coming out of surgery, I opened my eyes to see very bright lights. I did not know whether the procedure was over or just beginning but soon was told it was completed and successful. It took four hours! Subsequently, I searched for images which would describe my experience. Painting concurrently as baby robins were peeping in their nest nearby, I incorporated them-in-their-nest center stage where originally I had only a vortex of color.
