Sycamore Sun. Acrylic on canvas, 24” x 18.” How glorious the sunlight played on the sycamores with their unusual, textured bark! Part one of painting this was in plein air, but something of its totality was missing, so I stored it away. Part two was developed years later when I developed the scene more, including sunlight effects on the dappled pathway.
