Enter. Mixed media: acrylic & glass beads on canvas 22” x 28.” The woods, as night begins to descend, is both beautiful and intimidating. Especialliy at sunset, the woods represent the unknown to me--literally and figuratively. I compare this wary feeling to creating a work of art. The wariness in this case occurred partly when I, a morning person, painted a night scene. I  limited my palette to darker colors in order to explore this more somber range and added a different ingredient to the canvas--acrylic beads-- and assimilated that ingredient into the artwork.
