Cairn, Mixed media on canvas: acrylic and earth. Approximately 18 x 24 in. Loving rocks, when I spotted this pile alone in a field, I was compelled to paint them. This painting can be hung either horizontally--where a cairn can better be viewed-- or vertically--where abstraction plays a much greater role.
