Humming Color. 18 x 24 inches, Acrylic on canvas. Increasingly, preserving the environment with native plants that attract birds & pollinators has become very important to me. Each spring I hopefully anticipate the arrival of the Ruby-throated Hummingbird and bee balm, bluebells and other native flowers that bring the strange-looking hummingbird moth (specifically, Snowberry Clearwing Hummingbird Moth) to my garden. Then interaction begins, especially between the male and female hummingbirds that keep me fascinated throughout the day.
