Acrylic on archival watercolor paper. 14 x 18 x 1.5 inches framed. Living surrounded by woods, wildlife has a chance to live freely. Apparently Pileated Woodpeckers aren't bashful. However, only after I painted this view from our front yard that I painted her/him in. That log beckoned for something to be placed on it, and I remembered a previous occasion where I saw the Pileated fairly close by!
