Drawing a bucolic scene at a “living farm” nearby, I glanced over to see an animal watching me through a fence! Quickly photographing it then, I recently remembered that animal, turning out to be a sheep, and was compelled to paint it. Who hasn’t felt, at times, that someone was watching them?
